Hi again, Gorgeous!
I can’t believe that it is March already! How time flies. This winter sure did go by quickly!
Today I wanted to share with you a posing tip that can make all the difference in your boudoir photos. Are you ready for it?
Point your toes!
Why? In boudoir, we love creating different shapes and curves with the body. Pointing the toes is like the cherry on top of the sundae. It makes the poses look more elegant, and draws the eyes of the person viewing the photo up and down the legs. It also adds length to the pose!
If you are having trouble staying up on your toes or pointing them, have your photographer count to three, and point them when they get to three!
If you are unable to point your toes for some reason or it is uncomfortable, another way to get lift and length through a pose is to put on a pair of heels! This is especially helpful for standing poses.
Side Note: If your feet cramp up like mine do (Hi! Ashlie the assistant, here), try having some potassium before your session. Eat something like a banana, and this may help to lessen cramping when you point your toes.
Until next week!
